Great News for statistics geeks. Google have finally released a Google analytics app for IOS.
This long overdue app which has been available on Android devices for quite some time has now made its way over to Apple. Which is great news for statistics junkies like me but bad news for IOS developers who have been creating Apps that harness the power of Google analytics.
The App is great news for Search Egine Optimisation professionals who when asked by a client how is mywebsite doing, can just pull out their phone and say “Here, let me show you”.
It includes real time statistics reporting so you can see who is on your website right now.
I set it up on my iPhone easily and have everything works without any problems. The only problem I had was trying to use it was remembering and typing in my long and overly compliacted password.
The App is not optimised for iPad yet but I was able to install it and use it easily. Just search under iPhone apps when you are in the App Store.
Finally something to do with your iPhone when you are on the bus instead of playing Angry Birds
